The role
Ghana’s unemployment is substantially a matching problem. Employers say candidates lack the skills, and candidates say nobody ever taught them what was wanted. You will stand in that gap and close it.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the Skill Assessments programme for students, graduates, artisans and professionals, and help candidates build a skills record employers can trust.
- Recruit mentors from industry and match them to candidates through the Mentorship section.
- Deliver curriculum vitae clinics, interview preparation and workplace readiness sessions on campuses, in communities and online.
- Work with employers to define what skills they actually need, and turn that into assessment and training content.
- Partner with training institutions, NVTI centres and professional bodies across the regions.
Requirements
- A degree or HND in human resource management, education, psychology, development studies, business or a related field.
- National service completed. Experience in training, teaching or recruitment is an advantage.
- A valid Ghana Card and willingness to travel.
- Fluency in English and at least one widely spoken Ghanaian language.
Benefits
What you will gain • Professional training and facilitation experience at national scale. • A working network of mentors, employers and training institutions across Ghana. • Authorship of assessment and training content used nationwide. What we offer • A written contract, monthly salary paid on time. • Structured training from your first week, and a written reference on completion. • Work measured by the Ghanaians you help into employment, not by hours at a desk.
