Sankofa Job is a product of G&T Prestige Ltd, a company registered in Ghana (Registration reference: GTP/EXE/DEV/2026/001). We operate an online job marketplace connecting employers and job seekers across Ghana and the diaspora. Our registered office is at Plot 13, Block A, Abuakwa, Kumasi (P. O. 2. Data We Collect
We collect: (a) Account data — name, email address, phone number when you register; (b) Profile data — work experience, education, skills, CV files, profile photo; (c) Usage data — pages visited, search queries, job views; (d) Communications — messages sent through our platform, application cover letters; (e) Payment data — mobile money numbers and Paystack transaction references (we do not store full card details).
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: provide and improve our job marketplace services; match job seekers with relevant opportunities; enable employer-applicant communication; process payments and subscriptions; send transactional emails (application updates, notifications); send marketing emails (you may unsubscribe at any time); comply with legal obligations under Ghanaian law and GDPR.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
For users in the EU/UK diaspora, our legal bases are: Contract performance (to provide our service); Legitimate interests (to improve and market our services); Consent (for optional features like job alerts and marketing emails); Legal obligation (for tax and regulatory compliance).
5. Data Sharing
We share your data with: Employers (when you apply for a job — name, CV, cover letter only); Service providers (Base44 for infrastructure, Paystack for payments — under data processing agreements); Legal authorities (only when required by Ghanaian law or court order). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. Data Retention
Active account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g. payment records for 7 years under Ghanaian tax law).
7. Your Rights
Under the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012 and GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your data ("right to be forgotten"); object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email admin@gtprestigeltd.com.

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, secure database storage, and limited staff access to personal data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
