Terms of Service | Sankofa Job

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Sankofa Job ("the Platform"), operated by Gabsab IT Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Sankofa Job. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current and complete.

3. Job Seeker Terms

As a job seeker, you may: create a profile, upload a CV, apply to job listings, and connect with employers. You must not: submit false information, spam employers, or create multiple accounts. Free accounts are limited to 5 applications per month. Premium subscribers receive unlimited applications.

4. Employer Terms

As an employer, you may: post job listings, review applications, and contact applicants. You must: post only genuine, legal job opportunities; accurately describe roles and compensation. Free accounts are limited to 2 active job posts. You must not post discriminatory, exploitative or fraudulent listings. Sankofa Job reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms without refund.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; post content that is false, misleading, offensive or discriminatory; scrape, crawl or otherwise harvest data from our platform without written permission; attempt to circumvent our security measures; impersonate another person or organisation.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Premium plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Paystack and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are not provided for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, design, logos and trademarks are owned by Gabsab IT Services. User-submitted content (CVs, job descriptions) remains the property of the submitting party, but you grant us a licence to display and process it within the platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that job listings are accurate, that employers are legitimate, or that job seekers will secure employment. We encourage users to conduct their own due diligence.

9. Limitation of Liability

Sankofa Job and Gabsab IT Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without notice. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
