The role

One agreement with an association reaches its entire membership. You are the person who secures those agreements, and this is the highest leverage employer acquisition role in the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach trade associations, guilds, chambers and professional bodies in your region.
  • Secure a meeting with the executive, present Sankofa Job, and negotiate a member onboarding agreement.
  • Attend association meetings and arrange to address the membership directly.
  • Convert signed agreements into registered employers, because an agreement that produces no registrations has delivered nothing.
  • Maintain the relationship after signing, with a scheduled contact at least monthly.
  • Deliver three signed agreements in your first quarter and at least forty registered employers arising from them.

Requirements

  • A completed degree and completion of national service.
  • Comfortable presenting to a room of twenty or more people.
  • Able to write a clear follow up letter without supervision.
  • Existing membership of, or family connection to, a trade association is a strong advantage
  • Patient. An association agreement takes weeks rather than days.
  • Converting agreements into registrations

Benefits

Transport and data allowance on top of salary. • Training in negotiation and partnership agreements, which is rare to acquire this early in a career. • You will meet association executives, chamber officers and industry leaders across Ghana. That network stays yours. • Named credit on every agreement you secure, and a written reference listing them. • Growth pathway. This role leads to Partnerships Manager, and then to Head of Institutional Relations as the association programme scales to forty agreements.
