Kotokuraba is where Cape Coast buys and sells. Shops, food vendors, tailors, salons, chemical sellers and provision stores take on assistants, apprentices and delivery hands constantly, and never advertise a single one. Where you will work Kotokuraba Market, Commercial Street, Abura, Pedu Junction, Anaafo, Elmina market. What you will do • Work the market and the commercial streets business by business. • Register traders and shop owners and post their vacancies with them. • Reach market queens and line leaders to register whole sections at once. What you deliver each week • At least 15 businesses registered weekly. • At least 8 posting a live vacancy. • One market section or line leader brought on board weekly. Who this suits Graduates in commerce, marketing, business administration, purchasing and supply or any discipline, from UCC and Cape Coast Technical University. Fluent Fante and comfort in a market matter most. What you will gain • Paid commercial experience in the trading centre of the region. • A network among traders who hire year round. • A route into the Business Development Officer role. Terms • GHS 1120 weekly, plus GHS 40 for every business that posts a vacancy. • Paid weekly, every Friday, by mobile money. Transport reimbursed against receipts. • 4 weeks, renewable up to 12 weeks on performance. • Open to graduates of any institution and any discipline, and to anyone aged 18 and above with the skill this gig calls for. • A valid Ghana Card is required for payment.
